About StencilID

StencilID is a tool for making ID cards, staff badges, event passes and certificates, and for generating hundreds of them at once from a spreadsheet.

Anyone who has had to make ID cards for a class, a company or an event knows the problem. Designing one card is easy enough. Making three hundred, each with a different name and photo, is where it falls apart. Most design tools are built for one nice-looking thing, not for turning a list of people into a stack of print-ready cards. We built StencilID to do exactly that.

You design a card in the browser at the correct print size, or start from a template, then upload a CSV and let it generate a personalised card for every row. Photos are matched by filename, QR codes and barcodes are built in, and you get a ZIP of images plus a print-ready PDF with cut lines.

It's for schools, offices, HR teams, event organizers, clubs, and anyone who needs more than one card and would rather not make them by hand.

We're a small, independent team. The free plan is genuinely free to start, and the paid plans keep the lights on. If something is broken or missing, we want to hear about it, so please get in touch.
